ABOUT ALYSSA RENZI
Alyssa is a filmmaker from New York currently residing in Los Angeles. Her love of film and storytelling started in grade school and has now turned into a passion. As a cinematographer she has worked on a number of different projects including short films, web series, documentaries, commercials, and music videos. "Hanger's Limb", an historical drama she co-DP'd, was selected as a 2019 Student Academy Award Semi-Finalist. "Retribution", a short film she was the cinematographer for, has screened at a number of festivals and has won numerous awards, including winning the Telly Awards Bronze Medal for Best Student Short Film, and screening at the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase. She completed her MFA in film & television production at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. Alyssa has worked with many different cameras and on many different levels of production. She's shot on Arri, Canon, RED, Sony, and Blackmagic cameras.
Alyssa is also a photographer, having had the wonderful opportunity to photograph places as stunning as New York City and New Zealand. In particular, she enjoys capturing the beauty in nature. Although, she also likes making people look good, too!
